The Otis Community and the public are invited to attend the opening reception for the BFA Fine Arts Seniors' exhibition, In the genesis, on Tuesday, November 9th from 5:00–7:00 p.m. PT in the Bolsky Gallery, located in the Bronya and Andy Galef Building on the Otis College Goldsmith campus.

In the genesis, humanity retreated to nil, and a multiverse emerged. A black hole fractured the Earth’s crust. Oceans collapsed into the mantle, and the skies sullied a red hue. The first days were barren and formless, but soon horses unbound the white sheen of the moon and strode into the morphosis. The herd spilled onto the vast desert of rebirth, setting forth an evolution. Two thousand years passed in the interim. The desert itself, altered into a stadium with imprints of angels adorning every surface and artifacts hidden within corridors of sand. Time, accounted for through memory, separated that which became from all that had preceded. Cosmic pull compressed traces of vital energy into extra terrestrial specimens. These astral witnesses collected in pursuit of uncovering the relics from aforetime.
