Decorating with “slip” (a liquid clay mixture) has been used for millenia. In this 2-hour online class, a range of slip-decorating techniques will be introduced. Demonstrations will include brush painting, carving or sgraffito, using color and combining with additional glazes, using wheel-thrown, slab-built, and handbuilt forms. Previous experience in ceramics is recommended.
