Silke Otto-Knapp is a Los Angeles based artist born in Osnabrück, Germany. She received an M.A. from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, and a degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Hildesheim, Germany.
She has participated in numerous shows such as Dance/Draw at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London; modern modern at the Chelsea Art Museum, & at the 9th Istanbul Biennial.
Silke Otto-Knapp is currently a professor at UCLA for painting and drawing.
