Grad Fine Arts: Mid-Residency Exhibition Humiliation

Humiliation

Graduate Fine Arts Mid-Residency Exhibition
Feb 2 – 13, 2016

Reception:
Thursday, Feb 4th, 6-9PM

Humiliation: a mid-residency group show featuring first year fine art graduates making new work specifically addressing the grand problematic word, humiliation, which is also the title of Wayne Koestenbaum’s brilliant book length essay. This exhibition will also feature drawings by graduate professor, Judie Bamber, and it’s curator, Benjamin Weissman.

If humiliation means to be made humble than this exhibition attempts to break that process down, and, by conventional artistic means, build it back up.
