Lecture by Tiffany Beamer, Partner, OLIN Los Angeles

Partner TIFFANY BEAMER leads OLIN’s Los Angeles studio. Her background in art and music inform much of her design ethos. She believes landscape should be immersive and experienced with all the senses. Her humanistic approach is evident in her designs working across a wide range of typologies including urban parks, cultural institutions, mixed use cityscapes, universities and federal campuses. Tiffany’s notable works include Simon and Helen Director Park in Portland, Oregon; Carnegie Hall Roof Garden in New York, NY; Plummer Park in West Hollywood, California; and the AIA award-winning Morse & Ezra Stiles College at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Tiffany recently led a competition-winning entry for an iconic public plaza and mixed-use development in downtown Santa Monica, and developed the landscape design for the nation's first art-house film drive-in movie theatre in Marfa, Texas. Currently she is working on a hotel and residential development in the heart of Beverly Hills, a master plan to revitalize a 120-acre beachfront park in Honolulu, Hawaii, a public plaza in downtown Miami, a small arts center on Mercer Island in Washington, and the University of California's Engineering VI buildings in Los Angeles, CA.

OLIN creates distinguished landscapes and urban designs worldwide. Our work is predicated upon social engagement, craft, detail, materiality, and timelessness, and our appreciation of the urban environment is paramount. OLIN has offices in both Philadelphia and Los Angeles and works throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
