Sula Bermudez is a recent Yale MFA Graduate exploring the politics of hair. She uses hair of her own as thread and embroiders intricate hair doilies. Sula received her BA in studio Art at Bard College in New York. Her first solo exhibition Reconstruction debuted 2015, her next solo exhibition Stitching the Self will be in Austin Texas later this year.
