Charles Gaines has had over 70 one-person shows and several hundred group exhibitions in the US and Europe. He is represented in the US by the Paula Cooper Gallery in New York and Susanne Veilmetter Los Angeles Projects. In 2013 he had one-person exhibitions at the Studio Museum New York and the Paula Cooper Gallery.
