Movies that Matter Special Screening: Hidden Figures

Please join us for a Movies that Matter Special Screening of the award-winning powerful new drama, Hidden Figures, on Tuesday, April 18 at 7:00 PM in the Otis College Forum.

Hidden Figures celebrates the powerful, real-life story of three African American women in the segregated South who crossed race and gender lines and made it possible for the first American man to orbit the Earth.

We are honored to have the film’s producer and star, Kimberly Quinn as our special guest for the Q&A moderated by Movies that Matter series producers Perri Chasin and Judy Arthur following the screening. Watch the Hidden Figures film trailer.

Hidden Figures is both an inspirational tribute to NASA's female African-American engineers and its trio of actresses.” Rolling Stone Magazine

The Movies that Matter Special Screening Series is produced by LAS Faculty Perri Chasin and Mentor Faculty Judy Arthur in association with Mike Luna and Otis Student Activities and cooperation from Digital Media and Liberal Arts and Sciences.
