Movies that Matter Special Screening: Loving

Please join us for a Movies that Matter Special Screening of the award-winning powerful new drama, LOVING, on Thursday, February 2 at 7:00PM in the Otis College Forum.

LOVING celebrates the real-life courage of interracial couple Richard and Mildred Loving as they fight for the right to stay married, leading to the Supreme Court which reaffirmed the very foundation of the right to marry.

“Joel Edgerton as Richard and Ruth Negga as Mildred give performances that will be talked about for years” - Rolling Stone Magazine
“A beautiful film about daring to love, without fear or compromise”  - The Washington Post
“Timely and timeless”  - Time Magazine

We are honored to have the film’s producer Oge Egbuonu as our special guest for the Q & A following the screening, moderated by Movies that Matter series producers Judy Arthur and Perri Chasin.

The Movies that Matter Special Screening Series is produced by LAS Faculty Perri Chasin and Mentor Faculty Judy Arthur in association with Mike Luna and Otis Student Activities and cooperation from Liberal Arts and Sciences.
