Family and Friends Day is a half-day experience, one morning (8:30am-1:30pm) and one afternoon session (11:30am-4:30pm). Attendees only need to register for one of the two sessions being offered. Family and Friends Day is especially important for students entering college for the first time or transferring from another college and starting at Otis College as a Foundation student.
Students and families will gain a basic understanding of the college and the Foundation year for the student. There will be an opportunity for students to meet upper division students who serve as Orientation Week Leaders and speak with various staff and faculty representing different resources at the college. You will also receive your student ID, visit vendors on campus and participate in afternoon activities that will ease your transition.
Family and Friends are welcome to attend this event! All newly admitted Foundation and Foundation Transfer students are expected to attend. Lunch will be provided!
