Charmaine Craig’s most recent novel, Miss Burma, was published by Grove and longlisted for the 2017 National Book Award for fiction. Her first novel, The Good Men, was a national bestseller and translated into six languages. Craig is a Burma activist and descended from significant figures in Burma’s modern history. A former actor in film and television, she received her MFA from the University of California, Irvine. She is a faculty member in the Department of Creative Writing at UC Riverside.
