Intern Recruitment Day

3:00 - 6:00pm PT
(Companies in other time zones should feel free to attend for as long as their schedule allows.)
What is Intern Recruitment Day (IRD)?
Intern Recruitment Day (IRD) is Otis College of Art and Design’s annual signature creative recruiting event hosted by the Office of Career Services. IRD is designed to assist you and your organization’s talent needs in various creative endeavors and industries. Each registered employer participant will have the opportunity to meet with students individually for 10-15 minutes of virtual interviews/portfolio reviews from all creative majors at Otis College of Art and Design. Once you register, both you the employer and students will have the opportunity to note your interest in meeting. On the day of the event, students will join virtual "queues" to chat with you. You will also have the option to hold open group chats open to all attending students.
*You do not have to be currently hiring to attend—we welcome employers to do portfolio reviews, talk with talent, and make connections for future openings!
What types of students can I expect to meet with at IRD?
As an employer participant you can expect to meet with Sophomore, Juniors, Seniors and second-year graduate students from the following majors: Architecture/Landscape/Interiors; Communication Art (Graphic Design and Illustration); Digital Media (Animation, Game & Entertainment Design, Motion Graphics); Fashion Design; Fine Arts; Product Design; Toy Design, MFA Fine Arts, MFA Graphic Design, and MFA Writing.
