Overview
Each year, an Otis College student is commissioned to illustrate the admissions viewbook cover wrap, which unfolds into a poster. The 2020-21 poster was designed by Design Lab student Khang Nguyen (‘21 BFA Communication Arts).
The 2020-21 Viewbook utilized two Pantone colors, a neon orange and a purple, both of which Khang incorporated into the final illustration. Khang integrated Los Angeles architectural and cultural elements into the illustration after centering the main Otis College building on the front cover.
The poster and viewbook received a Grand Gold CASE District VII Award of Excellence.
