Clay Together: Ages 5-8

What lets you bring any object to life and hold it in your hands? Clay and paper mache! Create imaginary creatures, animals, and face masks or landmarks like the Statue of Liberty or the Eiffel Tower. Using your imagination, learn how to turn two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional pieces with these materials. Activities are designed to develop fine motor skills, teach clay technique, and provide good, messy fun with art.

Included in Course Price: $35 (materials provided by instructor)

IMPORTANT:
• On the first day of class, ALL students must check in with Extension staff in the lobby of the Ahmanson Building before attending class.
• All K-12 and Pre-College students are required to submit a completed K12 Mandatory Forms Packet prior to admittance into the classroom. Students will not be permitted to attend without this.
