Introduction to Digital Design (Graphic Design/Print; Online)
(Emphasis: Graphic Design/Print)
Whether your interest is in producing animated interactive media for the web or you’re all about print production, you need to start with the basics and become familiar with the digital tools of the trade. This hands-on course introduces students to various digital graphics software applications that are the industry standard for design professionals—Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Animate, and Adobe Dreamweaver. (Please note: software varies depending on course emphasis.) Taught in a computer lab at Otis College, students can sign up for open lab time at no additional cost.
Please note: This course takes place completely online in an asynchronous environment. Login information will be provided within 72 hours prior to class.
Prerequisite: Basic computer knowledge
First class materials: USB Flash Drive (please test functionality before use); note-taking materials
