Master Painting Workshop with Laddie John Dill

Mastering diverse mediums throughout his long career, artist Laddie John Dill is acclaimed for his work with light, metal, sculpture, and painting, which can be found in the collections of MOMA, LACMA, the Art Institute of Chicago, and more. In this master painting workshop, students refine their unique artistic practices under Dill’s guidance and mentorship. Sharing his motivations and working methods, the artist also encourages students to develop the necessary knowledge and technique to express their own ideas. Course includes painting from live models.

Prerequisite: XDRG 1001 Drawing and Composition; XPTG1128 Introduction to Painting: Material and Techniques
