Textile Surface Design IIB
With the heightened awareness of pattern design possibilities within the textile design field, it is also important to develop a series of works on fabric exploring traditional techniques that still serve as a relevant foundation in textile design. This course will present a new challenge in working with fabric dyes and embellishments applied in Batik, Shibori, Block Printing, Silk Painting, Marbling and Cyanotype imaging on cloth.The course will also include a glass etching project for home products.
Prerequisite: XSRF4016 Textile/Surface Design IB
