Introduction to Graphic Design (Online)

Graphic design is visual communication. Every aspect—layout, typography and symbols, photography, illustration,—comes together to send a message, tell a story, or distinguish a brand. This foundation course explores all of the above while instilling in students the basic principles of graphic design. Students can complete their assignments using their own computers or by traditional techniques that are discussed by the instructor in conjunction with each assignment.

Please note: This course takes place completely online in an asynchronous environment. Login information will be provided within 72 hours prior to class.
