Allison Miller is a Los Angeles based artist with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is represented by The Pit, Los Angeles and Susan Inglett, New York and has had solo shows at The Finley, Los Angeles and ACME., Los Angeles. Recent group exhibitions include Mühlheim/Ruhr and the 1970's, curated by Alice Könitz, Kunstmuseum Mühlehiem an der Ruhr, Germany, NOW-ism: Abstraction Today, The Pizzuti Collection, Made in L.A., 2012, Hammer Museum, Something About Mary, The Orange County Museum of Art, Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles, Ameringer/McEnery/Yohe, New York and D’Amelio Terras, New York. Miller has taught and lectured extensively and was awarded the 2014 Richard Diebenkorn Teaching Fellowship in conjunction with the San Francisco Art Institute and the 2017 Frederick Hammersley Visiting Artist Fellowship in conjunction with the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.
