Bio/Affiliation: 

Carolina Hicks (b.1991) is a Colombian-American artist, writer, and teacher born in Panorama City and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles. She holds a BA in anthropology from San Francisco State University (2013) and MFA in art from CalArts (2018). 

She's participated in residencies at the University of Malmö, Lugar a Dudas Colombia, ArtCenter Downtown, CalArts, and Otis.

She's presented at 2727 California Street, Museum of Latin American Art Long Beach, Municipal Art Gallery, Navel Los Angeles, UCSD, UCLA, University of Malmö, Universidad de Los Andes Bogotá, Mills College, and Chapman University,

She's participated in group exhibitions at The Box Gallery, CSREA Gallery Brown University, Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art, ArtCenter Downtown, Molino Gallery, Torrance Art Museum, Los Angeles LGBT Center, Other Places Art Festival, La Tierra de la Culebra Park Los Angeles, Institute of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, nationalmuseum Berlin, and New Wight Gallery UCLA.
