Mauro is an Animator with 44 years of experience In traditional animation as a character animator and effects animator in TV, feature animation films, and live-action effects films as well as numerous tv commercials for a variety of studios.
He has worked at, Hanna Barbera, Filmation, Disney Feature Animation, Boss Film Corp., Perpetual Motion Films, Baer Animation Studios, Dreamscape, and Duncan Studio. His experience ranges as a Character Animator and an Animation Supervisor at Boss Film Corp. and as an Effects Animator and EFX Supervisor at Disney Feature Animation
He has trained effects animators in the Disney Paris Studio and Orlando Florida Studio and Burbank Studio. For the past 9 years, Mauro has taught Animation Basics as well as Traditional Effects Animation classes at Otis College of Art and Design.
Mauro was awarded an "Annie" by ASIFA in 1997 for Outstanding Effects Animation for his work on Disney's " Hercules"
