Direction from Mentors

During the Fall semester the Junior and Senior students are given an opportunity to pick a experienced mentor to design for throughout the school year. The mentors will visit the students on campus, video call, or through a studio visit providing them a detailed concept on how to approach their assisgnment. 


 

Sketch Selection

After receiving Direction from their mentors the Junior and Senior students can produce a high volume of sketches which will be presented, critiqued, and then prep for a fitting for a model.

On September 6, 2019 Otis College proudly presents the naming of the fashion building with its new name, the Anne Cole Building, in honor of her legacy and contribution.

Otis Fashion Design Student Work Showcased: SOURCING AT MAGIC

SOURCING AT MAGIC is the largest fashion sourcing event in North America, showcasing more than 1100 apparel, accessories and footwear resources from over 40 countries. In August, 2019, six designs produced by students from the Senior class were displayed at the Magic Trade Show in Las Vegas. The four-day event offered Otis College fashion program’s graduates important exposure to a global spectrum audience. Participating graduates: Soomin Choi, Julia Park, Jamie Lee, Shirley Park, Young Sun Park, Austin Zhang, Manqing Yang, Clara Choi, Jin Lee, Nastaran Eskandari, and Ani Litzen.
