Otis College of Art and Design on Saturday will stage its first fashion show and annual scholarship benefit at home — on the Elaine and Bram Goldsmith Campus in Westchester, Calif.As always, the event brings students together with talent from the fashion and entertainment industries, which this year includes mentors from Bally, Universal, Marvel Studios and Ironhead Studio.

Otis College of Art and Design has been training artists and designers in Southern California for cultural and entrepreneurial life since 1918. The Annual Exhibition showcases work by graduating students across departments, including environmental and graphic design, animation, game, toy and fashion.

Otis College Celebrates Student Fashion Show and Fund-raiser With New York Designer Jason Wu on Hand
The special guests lined up for photos as the students at the Otis College of Art and Design got ready for their 36th annual student fashion show. Among the invitees was New York designer Jason Wu, who was keeping a low-key profile as he was given a tour of the newly expanded campus. Wu must have been impressed with the recently constructed academic building and residence hall at the Elaine and Bram Goldsmith Campus because he is planning to be one of the school’s prestigious student mentors next year.

Otis College of Art and Design staged its 36th Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show for the first time on the newly expanded Elaine and Bram Goldsmith campus in Westchester. Benefit Chair Shelley Reid and Otis College President Bruce Ferguson welcomed the sold-out crowd, noting the show fell on the eve of Otis College’s centennial year.
