Neiman Marcus Showcases Dreamy Designs by Otis College Grads
"Mr. Mackie asked our entire team to create 'swoon-worthy' evening looks inspired by underwater sea life and landscapes," says 23-year-old Otis grad Molly Workman. "Our design was influenced by the graceful and fierce tentacles of a lion fish."
Fluttery tie-dye dresses designed by Otis College of Art & Design grads under the direction of Morgane le Fay designer Liliana Casabala.
Inspired by "a dark and stormy coastal landscape," Otis grad Adrian Correa tells us that "working with Zaid Affas was a great opportunity because he knows fine tailoring and has a vision for high-end fashion design." Correa created a long tailored coat with oversized lapels and accented with a "fur-like" textured treatment. Beneath the coat is a minimalist A-line sleeved dress featuring dark sheer organza and metallic fabric strips "to give the effect of the moon shining over the water at night."
