The Fine Arts program offers students a path towards a career in the arts as an exhibiting artist, photographer, gallerist, curator, designer, or educator (among others).  The curriculum is centered on developing skills for these careers through an emphasis on exhibitions and other professional practices. During the senior year, students develop their writing skills through the Senior Thesis class, learn the basics of business practices in the arts through the Professional Practices class, and participate in a professional final exhibition, including a published catalog. Many Fine Arts students also pursue internships with museums, galleries, and artist studios facilitated by the program or Otis Career Services.
