Foundation

1st Term: Students take three studio courses that sum up to the core curriculum. Students may choose between Life Drawing I or Creative Practices I. In addition, all students take Drawing and Building Form and Principles of Design. Students take these three studio courses along with two Liberals Arts and Sciences courses as a part of a section, where peer collaboration promotes creative investigation, construction of meaning, and experimentation.

2nd Term: All students take Connections Through Color and Design which is a Creative Action course, and two Liberal Arts & Sciences courses. In addition, students choose between Drawing Studio and Form and Space. Depending on the courses completed in the fist term, students also take Life Drawing I or Life Drawing II, or Creative Practices I or Creative Practices II. Second-term students also select an Elective that introduces the majors.
