What I find unique about art is that it is not only an aesthetic but a universal template to aid creatives on better understanding what can possibly be done to rethink and reshape our world. Through my time at OTIS College of Art and Design my research on re-establishing ecologically determined ways of thinking, working, and being within communities helped me look at different ways how environmentalism can be better improved, analyzed and understood. Through the analysis of cultures, industries and wildlife that co-exist, My interest on ecological systems is inspired by the urgency of our shared need to reverse unhealthy and unsustainable impacts from human-made climate change.

This is the entrance of thesis exhibition . From the left side is some faux concrete sculptures and on the right are performance sculptures.

Performance piece: 6000 Heavy Travels, 5 Day duration piece. This was taken on the 2nd day of the performance piece before I began the session. Chained onto my ankles are 50 pounds of concrete, 25 pounds each, and each on top of burlap that made them heavier and as a cushion to the gallery ground.

Performance piece: 6000 Heavy Travels, 5 Day duration piece. This was taken on the 3rd day of the performance. Each day I would cross back and forth of the gallery space till I reached a certain number that would add up to 6000 travels at day 5. I would mark each crossing with a number as it covered each side of the space.

Performance piece: 6000 Heavy Travels, 5 Day duration piece. This was taken on the 4th day of the performance piece. The duration piece was part of a six performance series I stated since my time at Otis Started called: The 36000 Series. Each endurance driven piece added up to 36000 that represented all the oil pumps in Los Angeles. The other five duration pieces are presented in the Thesis as well.
