GFA Professor JUDIE BAMBER and Monica Majoli curated Tony Greene: Room of Advances at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture from June 18 to September 7, 2014.

“Tony Greene: Amid Voluptuous Calm” was curated by David Evans Frantz within the Hammer Museum’s “Made in LA 2014”. It also features works by GFA professor JUDIE BAMBER. From June 15, 2014 to September 7, 2014.

"Not Knowing" was curated by alum BRYAN RICCI '12 and featured alums SRIJON CHOWDHURY '13, BRYAN RICCI, ALEC EGAN '13, ALLISON PECK '14, LISA OXLEY '12 at Jaus Gallery in Los Angeles from June 6 to July 13, 2014

GFA Chair ROY DOWELL has work included in "A Poem for Raoul and Agnes" curated by Sherman Sam at Ancient & Modern in London, UK, from July 3 to September 6, 2014

GFA Professor BENJAMIN WEISSMAN showed in  A Public Fiction, as a part of Made In LA curated by Connie Butler and Michael Ned Holte at the Hammer Museum, and also in Tragedy + Time, at Public Fiction in Los Angeles, curated by Lauren Mackler and Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer from June 15th to September 7th, 2014. WEISSMAN with Paul McCarthy and Naotaka Hiro is also included in Men in LA: Three Generations of Drawing from May 31–July 5, 2014 at THE BOX in Los Angeles.

Picnic international included alums JESSE BENSON '03, TAMI DEMAREE '03, MATT MACFARLAND '03, TOM NORRIS '02, KATIE THOMA '13, RODD ZINBERG '12 at Eagle Rock Recreation Center on June 14, 2014.

Grad JANET E. DANDRIDGE took part in "Now Trending" with her installation and performance Follow These Rules: Periodic Table of Beauty at Palos Verdes Art Center from June 13th until July 6, 2014.

Alum ELENA ROSA '12 led a Free Family Art Workshop: "Puppet-Making and Performance", at LAMAG. Her 2014 Feitelson / Lundeberg Fellowship exhibition Conditions for Love in the LAMAG gallery at Barnsdall Park continued until June 15, 2014.

KARMA HENRY '10 will participate in MAS Albuquerque organized by Artra curatorial on July 19th at 7:00pm

ALEC EGAN '13 has a one-person exhibition, Luminous Opera, at Western Projects from JUNE 14  - JULY 19, 2014.

Alums JOHN WESTON '07 and KATIE THOMA '13 are showing their work at alum SERGIO BROMBERG'S '10 Venice6114 from May 31 to August 2, 2014.

Alum ROB FAUCETTE'S '05 The Amy Radio Show was Live at the Cinema Bar in Culver City on Sunday June 22nd, 3-6pm.

Grad Fine Arts Assistant Chair ANNETTA KAPON is showing her work in Inside the Quad (Freeway Studies #2) at the Ben Maltz Gallery until July 27, 2014. Other current exhibitions include Greek Jewish Artists at the Jewish Museum in Thessaloniki, Greece from May 8 to July 15, and the PhotoBiennale 2014 "Logos" at the Museum of Photography, in Thessaloniki, Greece from July 8 to September 8, 2014.

GFA Professor RENEE PETROPOULOS, GFA Assistant Chair ANNETTA KAPON and alum MARCELA GOTTARDO '14 are showing their work in Forms of the Formless: Time/Space, Museum of  Contemporary Art,  Beijing, China. Curators: Marlena Donohue and Michael Suh, until July 7, 2014

Variations of a Whole, a group exhibition of student work from Otis College of Art and Design is at the Bolsky Gallery from June 28 to August 27, 2014. It features grads SEAN CULLY, YASMIN THAN, RACHEL WOLFE, and JANET DANDRIDGE.

A final performance of Proposal for a Pavilion by GFA Professor RENEE PETROPOULOS included Alice Könitz, Jorge Martin, Greg Lenczycki, RENÉE PETROPOULOS, William Roper, Gabie Strong, and alum REBECCA TULL YATES '13 at LAMOA on Sunday June 22, 2014.

PROXY GALLERY in Culver City is hosting a one-person exhibition "Paragon" by grad JAMIE GRACE DAVIS from June 1 to July 31, 2014.

Alum MATTHEW CARTER '10 will have a one-person exhibition hellequinharlequinclown at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles from July 12 – August 23 2014.

Alum KIM FISHER ‘98 and grad KRISTY BALTEZORE (with KCHUNG) are included in Made in LA at the UCLA Hammer Museum, June 15 to September 7, 2014.
