Otis College of Art and Design offers warm congratulations to long-time arts champion Bram Goldsmith, honoree at The Duet Gala on November 10th.
Bram and Elaine Goldsmith have made lasting contributions to the history and development of Otis College of Art and Design. Elaine Goldsmith is Chair Emerita for the Board of Trustees, on which she served from 1983 to 1998 and she continues to serve on several committees. As the Founding Chair of the annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show, Elaine has provided guidance and support to the signature event, which has provided vital scholarships for Otis students since 1982.
For more than 30 years, the Goldsmiths have been devoted and passionate partners in fulfilling Otis’ commitment to preparing the next generation of artists and designers. The Elaine and Bram Goldsmith Campus, Otis College’s five-acre Westchester location, was named in appreciation of the couple’s outstanding service.
The Duet Gala will showcase the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with Maestro Zubin Mehta, featuring Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto for three violins and Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony.The dinner and concert will benefit the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts and the American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
