Learn a New Skill This Fall

Otis College Extension offers a wide range of night, weekend, and online courses taught by practicing professionals in art and design. The distinctive programs provide real opportunities for learning new skills, taking on new challenges, and exercising your creativity.

Start a new creative practice and build up essential skills with Drawing and Composition, Life Drawing, or Color Theory and Design. You can even learn on your schedule with Art and Design Fundamentals (Online), a 12-week, three-course bundle that will teach you the techniques at the core of an art and design education. Classes are taught by practicing professionals, many of whom teach in Otis College's undergraduate and graduate programs. Instructor Amy Bond, whose online course Professional Sewing for In-Home Studios starts on September 11, who can be seen on Season 16 of Project Runway.  

Ready for a bigger change? Certificates in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or any one of the ten programs of study can help you transition into a new career. "These programs are intended to prepare students for a broad range of opportunities in art and design practices and creative industries," says Amy Gantman, Dean of Extension at Otis College of Art and Design.
