Student exhibition featured works inspired by one of the world’s most popular games, The Sims™. Using The Sims™ as a creative toolbox, Otis’ young artists and designers created Machinima video pieces, stills, and art objects that extended beyond the virtual world. The exhibition showcased works produced for the Machinima and Art competition jointly held by Electronic Arts and Otis College of Art and Design. The challenge invited Otis students to produce pieces that fused the gaming and art fields and awarded based on expressive content, character development, art direction, originality, and use of music.
