Otis students really are artists in every sense of the word. Their attention to detail is amazing. I’ve been recruiting for Urban Outfitters, Inc. since 2007, and there hasn’t been a year that we haven’t been to Otis. The school is a “must-see.”– Jane Day, Talent Development Director, Urban Outfitters.
Academic Programming
Otis is exporing the development of a new MFA program in the field of architectural Lighting Design. Funding opportunities include capital and in-kind gifts from leading design firms, manufacturers, foundations, trusts, and agencies, in support of this program launch.
Research, Development & Design Projects
Engage students and faculty in research, design ideation, conceptualization, and product and prototype development. You provide students with the design challenge and they deliver the solutions. Sponsored projects are also a great way to scout and recruit talent. Short “brainstorm sessions” to full-semester projects are available.
Talent Recruitment & Engagement
We know that access to talent is a priority for our corporate partners. From sponsored projects to on-campus presentations, internship events to portfolio reviews, we work closely with you to find the best platform to meet your needs.

Nike, Patagonia, Quiksilver, Disney, Eddie Bauer and Todd Oldham are the founding members of the Otis Sustainability Alliance, a partnership between design industry leaders and higher education that aims to advance environmental, social and economic sustainability.
