Davis Elen Advertising and MFA graphic design students created a spectacular logo for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Game. in a unique partnership with Los Angeles-based Davis Elen Advertising, they captured the spirit of the World Summer Games, the world's largest sports and humanitarian event in Los Angeles. The students were mentored by David Moranville, Chief Creative Officer at Davis Elen and noted graffiti artist Stash, the project's artistic director.
"Davis Elen has a 60-plus-year history in Los Angeles and Otis has a 90-plus year history as the City's first art school. The chance for our two organizations to collaborate was very exciting," said Agency Chairman and CEO Mark Davis. "It also presented a significant challenge. Expectations were high for a graphic treatment that showcased L.A. at its best. At the same time, here was an opportunity to be part of a much larger, much more meaningful communication."
