Digital Media Speaker Series: Aaron Kupferman

Aaron Kupferman is a Visual Effects Society (VES)-nominated VFX Supervisor with over 15 years in visual effects. He has over 50 film and TV credits to his name, and dozens of commercials. A few highlights include a VES nomination for his work on Alice in Wonderland, Pan’s Labyrinth, Avengers: Infinity War, and most recently, Billie Eilish’s concert film, Happier Than Ever.

Digital Media Guest Speaker Series: Nick Smith

Nick Smith is an Otis Alum (’09 BFA Digital Media), a 3D generalist and art director. He's currently based in Tokyo, Japan. He has worked on a number of high profile projects, such as the Transformers: Prime animated series, Fast and the Furious Five, and Conan the Barbarian. Outside of mainstream media, he has also worked in projection mapping projects along with AR projects.

Digital Media Speaker Series: Alison Mann

Alison Mann is a 20-year veteran of animation and game recruiting and production. She has worked at Walt Disney Animation Studio, Zynga, Disney Interactive, Paramount Pictures Animation, Illumination Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Animation. Mann is the co-founder and CEO of the BRIC Foundation, an organization established to create new access points for women and people from underrepresented groups.

Digital Media Speaker Series: Ken Kwapis

Join us on Zoom to hear from an award-winning director of film and television. Ken Kwapis has directed many notable films and series, including The Office, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Bernie Mac Show,  He’s Just Not That Into You, and Santa Clarita Diet. He's recently authored his first book, But What I Really Want to Do is Direct, which explores his experiences as a director in the film and television industry.

Hillary is the Executive Creative Director of AKQA. Hillary has gained design experience working with companies such as SpaceX, Google, Apple, and Activision. Her work employs UX design and storytelling that spans across a variety of digital platforms.
