Students may apply to participate in the Travel Study program either in the fall or spring semester. Please note the following applicaiton deadlines for each academic term.

HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Attend an Information Session
Attending an info session is the first step for all students interested in Travel Study. Topics covered include, FAQ’s including program options, deadlines, financial aid, scholarships, costs and other pertinent information. No RSVP required. Visit, News & Events for information on upcoming information sessions.
Can’t make an info session? Please contact international@otis.edu to arrange an alternate time.
Step 2: Download & Submit your Application
Download: Travel Study Application
Submit:
- Via email to international@otis.edu (put the program destination and your name in the subject line),
- Faxed to (424) 207-2503, or...
- In person to the Center for International Education, Ahmanson Hall 215.
Step 3: Travel Nomination & Course Enrollment
Your application will be reviewed, and once nominated you will receive a notification email with course enrollment instructions, payment process procedures, and next steps to assist you with pre-departure planning. Notification emails will be sent out two weeks prior to Registration.
Being accepted for a Travel Study program is an important milestone and achievement! However, it is just the beginning of the process and you will be expected to take responsibility for knowing what steps you need to take to prepare for your departure. Step 4: Payment
Once you are registered, a bill for the coming semester will automatically be generated. It is your responsibility to make the necessary arrangements to pay your bill on time, just as you normally would at Otis.
Payment Deadlines: Spring Programs - Dec. 15th. Fall Programs - June 15th
Program costs will be added to your student account, in addition to your tuition.

Make your program payment at Otis Self Service:
- Electronic Check (ACH) with no service fee
- Credit Card: MasterCard, American Express, Discover are accepted with a 2.75% service fee.
- Increase your current TuitionPay payment plan
- Enroll in the Spring Only 5-Pay payment plan at TuitionPay.com
- In person by check at the Cashiers Window
