A studio visit with David Reed
In late spring, students will travel to New York City for a week. They will meet and interact with leaders in the art world, and tour both renowned and emerging galleries as well as world-class museums. During the semester and trip, students will maintain an e-journal, and conclude the term with a presentation of their experience.
Students will visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA, PS1, The Whitney Museum, The Frick Collection, The New Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, Dia Beacon, galleries in Chelsea, Midtown, Lower East side and Brooklyn, as well as individual artists’ studios.
