Illustration Senior Ashley Trail Selected for Television Academy Foundation Internship Program
Trail will be an animation production intern at independent animation production company Titmouse.
Otis College of Art and Design student Ashley Trail (’25 Illustration) has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship Program. She is one of just 40 students across the country chosen by Television Academy members for the 2024 Summer Internship Program, which offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies. Trail will be an animation production intern this summer at Titmouse Inc., an independent, award-winning animation production company.
“I’m highly aware of how difficult it can be to break into this industry. I’m grateful
to the Television Academy Foundation for their support and for facilitating an accessible
step for those starting out on their professional journeys in television,” Trail says.
“As an illustration student … My creative journey has taken me all over the place,
and I’ve arrived at a point where I want to be a storyboard artist. I’m excited to
explore the opportunities ahead of me and working at Titmouse will be a great way
to do just that!”
Established in 1959 as the charitable arm of the Television Academy, the Television Academy Foundation is dedicated to preserving the legacy of television while educating and inspiring
those who will shape its future. The Internship Program provides over 40 students
from across the nation with hands-on work experience, mentorships, and opportunities
for accelerated career development in more than 30 disciplines annually.
The program also provides professional development sessions with leaders in the television industry and customized seminars covering personal brand-building and navigating the job market. Television Academy Foundation alumni include prominent writers, producers, documentarians, creative executives, and network presidents. Interns automatically become members of the Foundation’s alumni family, giving them access to year-round events and networking opportunities as they build their careers in the industry.
