Apply for a $40,000 Scholarship
The Creative Futures Prize at Otis College of Art and Design celebrates, recognizes, and provides financial support to the next generation of emerging artists. Any senior-level student attending high school in Los Angeles County who aspires to attend Otis College is eligible for the award. This scholarship award of $40,000 will be awarded to nominees who are admitted to Otis College. The prize fosters creative opportunities for young artists living within the creative hub of Los Angeles.

Prize Highlights
Selected students will have their Fall 2024 application fee waived and will be awarded a scholarship of $10,000 per year, or $40,000 over four years if admitted to Otis College. The award will be in addition to other merit offered by the College, as well as state and federal financial aid.
Eligibility
All senior-level students in Los Angeles county are eligible for the Otis College Art and Design Creative Futures Prize. Only one student will be selected from each high school. December 1 is the application deadline to be considered for the scholarship.
Judging Criteria
- Demonstrated outstanding creative achievement
- Passion for their craft and artistic expression
- Intellectual growth through hard work, dedication, and a genuine interest in artistic development
