Summer of Art
Courses run weekly from July 5 - July 28, 2023 with classes held on campus from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Summer of Art is Otis College’s premiere pre-college program. This intensive, immersive experience is designed for developing creatives in high school who are 14.5 years of age or older. Summer of Art provides your teen with a unique opportunity to develop their artistic skills, as they explore specific art and design pathways at one of the nation's top art and design colleges.
This program is ideal for experienced, young artists interested in deepening their practice, as well as students with more informal art training. Summer of Art 2023 will take place in-person at Otis College’s main campus in Los Angeles, CA. Credit and non-credit options are available. Receive $100 off each class when you register before April 28, 2023.
As a Summer of Art student, you can live on campus, just moments away from your classes. Students live in our Residence Hall — offering a preview of the college experience.
Students earn college credit while immersing themselves in a rich mix of art courses. In the full program, they explore the foundational elements of drawing while diving deep into a specialized course in topics that range from fashion design and digital media to painting and ceramics.
Passionate students belong at Otis. This is why we offer merit- and need-based scholarship opportunities for prospective Summer of Art students who, for financial reasons, may not otherwise be able to attend.
