Beginning Ceramics

Getting dirty is half the fun with ceramics. The tactile quality of clay lets you really dig into your creativity. Whether you want to try your hand at clay or expand upon your existing ceramic practice, this course has something for everyone. With emphasis on functional ceramics, students are introduced to plaster mold making, the potter’s wheel, nontoxic glazes, and more. By the end of the course, students create a variety of functional and beautiful ceramics.
