Textile Surface Design IB
This first course will include works on paper; hand drawn motifs arranged for various repeat pattern structures and hand painted with colors that correspond with upcoming color trends for various design market groups. Each project will introduce a new technique using various mediums which is intended to present the artist with challenging and versatile possibilities. All projects in this semester will serve as a design collection that is cohesive and coordinated with an established color palette.
Prerequisite: XGRD1101 Color Theory and Design, XGRD5012 Fundamentals of 2-Dimensional Design
