Bio/Affiliation: 

Carlos Avila (he/him) is an LA-based Mexican-American designer and educator focusing primarily on typography, visual language, and user experience. As the Creative Director at J.Pera, a scent-based studio, he passionately explores innovative design approaches. As an independent design consultant, Carlos engages in typographic research and styling for various cultural and commercial clients, taking great care to bring their visions to life.
