Creative Executive Consultant / Adjunct Instructor

From toy designer to creative executive, Lisa Strom is an accomplished leader with a knack for bringing out the best in people. 

She has a highly collaborative work style and strong interpersonal skills and often acts as the bridge between creative spirits and analytical thinkers.

Lisa loves generating ideas, helping others hone their creative process, and knows the importance of delivering excellence in execution. 

As a former Design VP at Mattel, Lisa has deep experience in the toy industry. Her background in toys ranges from innovating brands like Hot Wheels & Barbie to conjuring up new games and action figures. 

Throughout her career, Lisa has often partnered with entertainment companies to create relevant product lines and experiences. Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Fox, Sony, Rovio, and Mojang are just a few she’s had the privilege to work with.

Today Lisa operates as a creative executive consultant helping toy & entertainment companies build brands, develop products, and amplify teams.

When Lisa is not helping toy teams increase their awesomeness, you can find her teaching art to preschoolers or the next generation of toy designers at Otis College of Art & Design.
