Bio/Affiliation:
Marisol writes fiction. She is interested in women’s issues, magical realism, and the process of writing. Her work explores the interior lives of women and seeks to examine the relationship between gender, culture, and identity. Born and raised in Southern California, she earned a BA and a JD from USC, and an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design. Outside of teaching, Marisol is busy writing, traveling, and spending time with her 8-year-old daughter.
