Bio/Affiliation: 

Melissa Clark is an author, instructor, television writer and podcast creator. Her novels include, “Swimming Upstream, Slowly”, “Imperfect”, and “Bear Witness”. She created, wrote, and produced the award-winning, animated television show, "Braceface," which ran for five seasons on ABC Family Channel and starred the voices of Alicia Silverstone and Michael Cera, and has written scripts for "Rolie Polie Olie", "Sweet Valley High", “Totally Spies,” among others. She is the creator/writer of the kid’s scripted podcast, “Becoming Mother Nature,” which won Gold in the 2019 Parents’ Choice Awards. She’s also the creator/writer/co-producer of the podcast, “Grandma for President,” which launched in 2020 on Audible.
