Week 1

Acrylic and Tempera Painting: Ages 5-8 (Morning)

Future Toy Designer: Heroes and Villians: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon) 

Get ready to bring your favorite heroes and villains to life in this fun and creative class! Young artists and future designers dive into the world of toy design, exploring what makes toys exciting and memorable. With guidance from a pro toy designer, they learn how to sketch out your ideas, create awesome characters, and even sculpt your very own toy prototypes. By the end of the camp, students will take home a own custom-designed toy, complete with a cool backstory. This camp is the perfect mix of creativity and hands-on fun, helping you take your first steps toward becoming a toy designer!

Eco Explorers: Art from Recycled Treasures: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon)

Plush and Clay: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon)

Let your imagination run wild in Plush and Clay! In this fun and creative camp, students get to design their very own characters inspired by a favorite animation, book, or toy—or something entirely from the imagination. Campers explore how to work with different materials like polymer clay, plush fabric, and wire, using sewing and modeling techniques to bring your ideas to life in 3D. This camp focuses on creative thinking and character design, helping build unique and colorful sculptures that are all their own. By the end of the week, students will take home their own plush and clay creations to show off

Cosmic Creations: Nature and Space - Inspired Art: Ages 5-8

Creating Art from Nature: Homes and Habitats: Ages 5-8 (Afternoon)

Explore the entire design process behind creating finished collections, experimenting with drawing and painting techniques to bring ideas to life. By studying existing brands and designers, students gain inspiration to develop their own unique fashion concepts. By the end of the camp, campers have hand-drawn illustrations and a completed garment showcasing their creativity and fashion sense!

Week 2

Cartooning for Kids: Ages 9-12 (Morning Session)

Bring your stories to life and learn how to turn ideas into engaging cartoons by combining character drawings, environments, and dialogue. Campers create their own cartoon characters and then dive into the techniques of visual storytelling. Discover how to draw a wide range of subjects and develop captivating plots and stories for your cartoons. By the end of the camp, students have a finished comic strip that’s ready to submit to your school newspaper or website, showcasing their new skills and creativity!

I Can Draw People: Ages 9-12 (Afternoon Session)

Learn how to capture the human form with confidence and creativity. From understanding proportions and anatomy to adding details like facial expressions and clothing, students explore various techniques to bring characters to life. Using pencils, ink, and other drawing tools, practice creating dynamic and expressive portraits and figures. By the end of the camp, campers will have a portfolio of drawings that showcase their skills and imagination, ready to impress and inspire!

Urban Sketching and Painting: Ages 9-12 (Morning Session)

Explore the vibrant world of cityscapes and dive into the art of capturing the energy and details of urban environments. You'll learn techniques for sketching and painting everything from bustling streets and iconic buildings to hidden corners and local scenes. Drawing What I see: People and Things (still life and portraiture): Age 9-12 (Afternoon Session)

Students learn how to draw objects, scenes, and people by observing and interpreting the world around them. Through guided exercises, campers practice techniques for creating detailed and expressive drawings of still life setups and portraits. Week 4

Create Your Own Graphic Novel: Ages 9-12 (Morning Session)

If you like drawing cartoons and writing stories or are curious about how to begin, this fun and fast-paced course is for you. From basic to more advanced projects, campers dive into the principles of storytelling and illustrating graphic novels, and use this knowledge to create and illustrate stories of their own. Recommended for young creatives who wish to develop their skills in drawing, narrative, visual storytelling into artistic and imaginative graphic novels.  At the end of the week, students will have their own graphic novel to share with family and friends!

Diorama and Set Building: Ages 9-12 (Afternoon Session)

Step into the world of miniature worlds and creative set design and explore how to build detailed and imaginative dioramas and sets using a variety of materials like cardboard, paint, fabric, and clay. Students learn techniques for designing and constructing mini environments, from magical landscapes to urban scenes. With guidance and inspiration, they create mini-worlds, paying attention to detail and design. Animating Worlds in 4D: Ages 9-12 

Bring your imagination to life and dive into the exciting process of creating your own stop-motion film. Students start by developing a story idea and then bring it to life by painting vibrant backdrops and sculpting characters out of clay. Throughout the week, they learn the ins and outs of stop-motion animation, from setting up scenes to capturing frames. By the end of the camp, they have their very own animated short film, showcasing their creativity and storytelling skills in a dynamic and engaging way!

2D Animation: Ages 9-12
