Bio/Affiliation:
Bijou Karman is an artist and illustrator from Los Angeles. She is inspired by nostalgia, strong women, plants, and a love of print and bright colors. Bijou spends most of her time working on illustrations for editorials, books, and advertising, but also works in gouache to create original paintings centered around fashion. Recently she has worked with clients such as The New Yorker, The Los Angeles Times, and Apple, and has exhibited her paintings in a solo show in Portland, Oregon.
