Bio/Affiliation: 

Dana has been a product designer for over 20 years, designing and developing a wide range of products from kitchen appliances, to sports apparel, to medical devices. She worked for 10 years at Nike creating innovative footwear and apparel. She has consulted with both Fortune 500 companies, Intel, Procter & Gamble, HP and Whirlpool, as well as transformative start-ups. Dana holds a BSID from Art Center College of Design and a BA from Lewis & Clark College. In 2013 Dana started SmartGirl Design, a design consulting firm in Los Angeles. She advises clients on design, strategic opportunities and branding.
