Bio/Affiliation: 

F. Miguel Valenti is a Los Angeles based educator, filmmaker, writer, and legal and business counsel. His book, More Than A Movie: Ethics in Entertainment, as the foundation for the Film School he founded at Arizona State University,recently rated the 24th best program in the country by TheWrap, with over 500 majors. He is the former Managing Partner of The Management Company, an arts management concern specializing in new writers in the entertainment industries. Valenti is also the producer of over two dozen feature film projects, including “Vig” for Lionsgate, produced with Barbra Streisand’s Barwood Film for HBO, “Car Dogs,” starring Academy Award Winner Octavia Spencer, George Lopez and Patric Adams (“Suits”), and “Lost Skeleton of Cadavra” for Sony Tristar, which has spawned four sequels. He has co-directed several features, including “Eyes of the Woods,” as well as shorts, industrials and commercial spots. He has taught at his alma mater, Yale University, Arizona State University and Quinnipiac University, where he created the West Coast Campus program prior to coming to Otis College of Arts and Design.
