Bio/Affiliation: 

Ian James (b. 1981 Cincinnati, OH) is an artist based in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA from California Institute of the Arts. Ian has participated in exhibitions at the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, Roberts & Tilton, vacancy los angeles, ltd Los Angeles, REDCAT, Holiday Forever (Jackson, WY), Self Actualization (Houston, TX), and an artist in residence at The Wassaic Project (Wassaic, NY).

 

He will be included in the upcoming exhibition Preservation curated by Aurora Tang at the Barrick Museum at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and in residence at SÍM in Reykjavik, Iceland.
